- О соборе
История собора
Мончегорский Свято – Вознесенский кафедральный собор — храм двухпрестольный т.е. в нем два алтаря. Состоит он из главного храма Вознесенья Господня, второго придела Святого Василия Блаженного и колокольни.
На внешней южной стороне главного храма – мозаичная икона Божией Матери «Знамение», на алтарной стене Владимирская икона Божией Матери, на северной – «Спас Нерукотворный». Вход в храм предваряет широкая парадная лестница, над входом икона «Господь Вседержитель». На фасаде придела Св. Василия Блаженного мозаичная икона, в центре которой Господь Вседержитель, ниже изображение храма, справа – Святой Василий Блаженный.
